Installation

The Select Access Testing Division
Working at height remains one of the highest-risk activities across construction, facilities management and building maintenance. Access and height-safety systems are there to control those risks, but they can only do their job when they are in suitable condition, correctly maintained and regularly inspected and tested. Without routine testing, defects, deterioration, damage or changes to a building can go unnoticed. Existing systems may also be missing inspection records or no longer be suitable for how the building is being used. For building owners, developers, contractors and facilities teams, uncertainty about the condition or compliance of an installed system is a risk that should not be left unresolved.
The Select Access Testing Division provides inspection, testing and recertification services for working-at-height and access infrastructure throughout Ireland. We assess guardrails, walkways, access ladders, fall-arrest systems, anchor points, façade-access equipment, Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) and other height-safety systems to determine whether they remain safe, suitable and fit for use. Following each inspection, we provide clear reporting and the relevant certification for systems that meet the applicable requirements, while identifying defects, concerns or corrective actions where required. Our approach gives clients a clear understanding of the condition of their systems and a structured way to address issues before they put people at risk.
