More Than an Online Shop

Select Access is not a general hardware retailer. We are a specialist height-safety business with practical experience across consultancy, technical design, installation, inspection and certification. That means our support does not end when a product leaves the warehouse. We can help determine whether a standard item is suitable, whether a system requires professional design or installation and whether existing equipment needs to be inspected. From an urgent component collected within hours to complete access infrastructure delivered across Ireland, our focus remains the same: responsive support, clear accountability and safety that can be demonstrated.

Testing and Certification: Do You Know When Your System Was Last Inspected?

Working-at-height equipment and infrastructure must remain safe, suitable and properly maintained throughout its operational life. Missing records, visible deterioration, building alterations or uncertainty about an existing system should not be ignored. The Select Access Testing Division inspects and tests access ladders, guardrails, fall-arrest systems, anchor points, walkways, façade-access equipment and other height-safety infrastructure throughout Ireland. Following inspection, we provide clear reporting and the relevant certification for the systems tested, helping clients understand their current condition and any corrective action required.

Not Sure What You Need?

You do not need to arrive with a product code or technical specification. Tell us who needs access, where they need to go and what work they need to complete. Photographs, drawings, measurements and details of any existing equipment can help our team understand the requirement. We will then advise whether you need an individual product, a site survey, a designed access solution or an inspection of existing infrastructure. Our role is to make the route to a safe and workable outcome clearer.
